Bass fishing is good. Anglers may find fish in the grass one day and only to go back and catch a few dinks the next day. The first few hours of the morning continue to be the most productive times. When the sun gets high buzz baits and spinnerbaits are best in the flooded grass and willow lines in 2 to 4 feet of water. This is best early. Chartreuse and white with tandem willow blades seems to be work best. The ledge bite may still a few weeks off so the shallow grass lines are still the place to be. Buzz the grass hard and fast because the sun will put the brakes on. Carolina rigs on the creeks ledges is a better route, but going to take some searching around to find a dependable bite.
