LAKE GEORGE IS FULL, 83 DEGREES & STAINED

Bass fishing is fair and there is a good top water bite early on buzz baits, poppers and Zoom Horny Toads. After the top water bite dies, flipping a Zoom Old Monster or Zoom Super Hog is the ticket. Concentrate on grass adjacent to deeper water. The presence of baitfish is the key. Look for those ingredients and you should find a concentration of fish. A secondary pattern has been fishing some of the shallower ledges in 8 to 12 feet of water. With the lake full these fish are very scattered right now, but if you find a school of fish they will eat crank baits and plastics fished on a Carolina rig. Bass will get really shallow in the abundance of shallow cover and as long as there is plenty of water on this cover, the fish will be in it.
