LAKE OCONEE IS FULL, 82 TO 89 DEGREES
Bass fishing is fair. The lake is full stained from mid lake up the rivers, clear on the south end. Dark green shaky head worms fished under docks on the main lake in 10 to 20 feet of water. Work under the docks as far back as possible. Make sure to contact all dock supports. Large crank baits worked on the humps on the south end of the lake will also produce some fish. When Georgia Power is pulling water crank baits fished on the bridge rip rap will also produce.

Line side fishing is good. When Georgia Power is pulling water the striper/hybrids are schooling on humps mid lake. They are staging in 15 to 20 feet of water on the sides of the humps. The Capt. Mack’s 4 arm umbrella rig has been catching most of the fish. Pull the rig 100 fee behind the boat at 3mph.
Crappie fishing is good. Use your Lowrance to locate the schools of fish from mid lake to the dam. The fish are schooling in water form 10 to 20 feet deep. Use minnows dropped down to the school for best results. The GON BLAST @ Gwinnett Civic Center is August 2-4, 2013 www.gon.com
