LAKE GEORGE IS FULL, 80’S

Bass fishing is fair and the bass are moving to the banks and points all over the lake. Bass are biting worms, spinner baits and large bright crank baits. The worms and jigs should be dark and in the larger sizes. Stick with these baits on the trees and ledges down lake. In the lower lake creeks, find any clearing water and use a Texas rigged Zoom Baby Bush Hog in greens and add some scent to the baits. The upper river bends are good areas to use large crank baits like the Rapala DT14 and Rapala DT16 in shad patterns. These larger worms in dark colors are worth several cast to the same area and make a big fish see the lure a lot. And add the Jack’s Juice scent. Work the backs of these docks as well as the bank cover and the sea walls on down lake.
