I think we can make it "Official" and say the Dog Days of Summer have arrived! The temperatures have soared to near the century mark in the past couple of days and have us getting out early (Around 6:30AM) to avoid the heat. The early mornings are pleasant if you have the nice breeze we had most mornings the past few weeks. The Lake surface needs to have a ripple on it to keep the bait and fish moving as well as the fishermen from getting too hot. Seems that the few days when the breeze does lay down.....so do fish. If we get a little cloud cover with the slight rain chances this next week, it's a big bonus and I bet the fish will react positively!

I fished everyday this past week and Adam was on the Lake three days. We had trips ranging from 175 fish limits with a 7 person Group to barely eaking out 25 fish for 2 person parties. The fish were not in the same locations on the same timetable two days in a row, but we most often found them and got in some good action for our Customers. All our White Bass and Hybrids continue to be caught on 1oz. RSR Chartruse or Silver Slabs (www.rsrlures.com ) with a small Jig Teaser above the Slab. We are getting into an occasional Top Water bite but 90% of the fish we're catching continue to come off Point and Humps in water depths of 10'-20' feet. We're catching the majority of fish up the Richland Creek Arm of the Lake.

Adam and I are booked the remainder of July but have LOTS of open Weekdays in August and even a couple of Saturday openings. It's not long till School starts so Let's Get Those Kiddos on the Lake for some Summer Fishin'!
