Bass fishing is fair and most of our fish have moved deeper on the creek ledges, on main lake points, sand bars and humps, on their winter pattern, and they are being caught on jigs, Shakey heads and drop shot rigs and Alabama rigs. The spotted bass are biting in the upper Little River and Chattooga River.

Striper fishing is fair and they are being caught in the main Channels of Little River and the Chattooga River and the Coosa River, trolling live bait or umbrella rigs and jigs.

Crappie fishing is great and most fish are suspended in main Coosa River channel, the deeper fish in the Coosa channel are being caught spider rigging minnows 18 to 20 feet deep. Little River and the Chattooga River and Little Spring Creek and Tab's cove, fish are suspended 4 to 8 feet deep, and they can be caught, Long line trolling with Jiffy Jigs in 1/24th and 1/16 ounce in colors JJ13, JJ17, JJ20, JJ24, JJ25, and Marks blue and Sexy Bug. A float and fly technique and minnows under a float is also producing well.
