Bass fishing is slow. The cold water sent most fish down below the 20 foot depths. Cowikee Creek seems to be the most reliable place to fish. The creek ledges just out from the marina and the ditches around the Cypress stands are yielding some good catches. The 1/2 ounce Hopkins Shorty spoons jigged around the 22 foot mark seems to be the best route. Lowrance down Scan technology can scan much wider areas with the narrow beams so anglers can see the bait, the structure and the fish four times better than with sonar. Find the bait and you will find the fish. Try drop shotting a Zoom Trick worm for the fish as they lay dead on the bottom.
