LAKE JACKSON IS DOWN .90 FEET, 50’s

Bass fishing is good. Up in the rivers the water is reaching 55 to 56 degrees and the bass are moving up to start looking for the perfect spawning area. White spinnerbaits are the favorite this week and fish are on structure they can find. Docks and stumps are getting a pounding and some nice bass are being caught. A small number are being caught on top water with Chug bugs. The top water bite is still a week or so away. Jackson is known for heavy cover especially around the numerous boat docks.
