With the lake turning the corner the fish we caught were all inside of 10 ft. in depth the key was just patience and not missing the bites. We really picked up on SPRO Baby Little John square bills, they seemed to be a great choice and caught several good fish. Just as a word of caution you can’t horse a fish on a square bill, the hooks are small and letting the fish tire is much better and you will put more fish in the boat. We also got bit on Missile Bait D-Stroyers, D-Bombs and Shock Wave swim baits rigged on Tight-Line swim jigs or Picasso Under-Spins.
If you’re looking to get on the water this next 6 weeks is staged to be the best of the season so far; I have guides and days available to fish with you. No one will treat you better we are all licensed USCG Captains with years of experience on Lake Guntersville. We fish with great sponsor products, Ranger Boats, Lowrance Electronics, Yamaha Motors Vicious Line and Duckett rods and reels and more.
