LAKE SEMINOLE IS FULL, CLEAR & 80’S


Bass fishing is fair. Many anglers are flipping in the flooded vegetation and the ledge bite is fair. Grass lines and river bends are holding a few fish and dead sticking a Texas rigged small Senko and a trick worm with a small weight is about the only way to get a bite. The top water bite has been fair early along the blow downs though there is not any size to the fish and they are all skinny. The Whopper Plopper can work in the open water edges on the grass line. Work the ledges with a Rapala DT10 in hot mustard and shad and there are a few fish at varying depths on different structure. After the sun is up, slow moving plastics are the only choice and stick with small baits like finesse worms and other sissy sized baits. Be sure to use at least a 4 foot leader on the Carolina rig. Some night owls are working black baits around all the docks and Jitterbugs are good choices as well as black buzz baits.
