It was a very good week on RC as I was able to fish everyday except for one and caught lots of fish each outing! While we don't do much Crappie fishing during much of the year, Fall is the exception. We caught Crappie every trip and really only fished for the White Bass on Saturday during the latter half of a Full Day Trip. Most days we caught around 30 Keeper Crappie but on a couple of days we managed 25 per person limits. Saturday was an especially FUN DAY as James Stephens and his 11 year old Son Wyatt joined me for a Full Day trip. We ended the day with 30 Crappie, 2 Catfish and 43 White Bass! Wyatt is one heck of a good fisherman! 😉




We are catching the Crappie over Brush Piles in 20' of water and fishing with minnows. It's a bit tough fishing but the reward is some of the best fried fish you'll put in your mouth! The White Bass fishing had been a little slow the last week or so but Saturday was an exceptional bite and we loaded the ice chest! Here's hoping this next weeks Cool Front really turns the Whites on and we begin a stretch of GREAT FALL FISHING!!!




Adam and I have plenty of Weekday Openings this week and into October. The October Saturdays are all booked but we still have November Weekend Dates available. It's none too early to get on the calendar for Thanksgiving Week!
