Bass fishing is fair. The #5 Shad Raps are catching spotted bass and largemouth bass in the smaller cuts and coves. Fish both the balsa wood and RS models early in the morning and then again late in the day. The shad color seems to be working the best with the clear green water. After the sun comes up, Zoom trick worms and finesse worms will work on a very light Texas rig. Carolina rigs in during the late morning until afternoon on the drop offs and channel ledges is a good choice. But be sure to check any area with the Lowrance Structure Scan and Down Scan technology to be sure fish are in the area. Deeper submerged structure in 10 to 22 feet of water seems to be the key. Down size you line and use the crank baits and try the long lining techniques across the main lake points.
