Bass fishing is fair. The bass are on the river and creek ledges where they spend the day. If there is any current, these fish get active but weekends are not usually good times for current. Fish the main lake channels and any current is a key especially afternoons. Use the ¾ ounce spinner bait with large silver willow leaf blades. Slow roll this lure on the creek bends mid lake and use a single Colorado blade and a chartreuse and white skirt. Also up lake, work this same lure on thick bank cover. The Zoom blue pumpkin lizard on a Texas rig has been fair on deep docks and points. Large Mann’s crank baits and 10 pound test line on a bait casting reel will get the baits deep to the fish. This summer try long rods and long casts with a slow ratio cranking reel.
