Not much change this past week as fishing remains spot specific on Guntersville; if you in the right spot at the right time you can have a great day. If not your casting and not catching and hence searching for that right location.


As far as bait selection the bite for me has been on top water with SPRO frog, Picasso buzz bait and spooks being my main choice for results. Speed has been a factor in getting bites as it appeared to me if you slowed down your top water presentations let some sit for a few seconds the bite was better. It also appears the bait is moving to the back waters pushing the bite closer to the main points and creeks.
