With the holidays behind us and the days growing in length everyday bye a few minutes fishing is picking up every day. There will be some ups and downs as there was this past week, but time will heal the weather and we will soon be catching spring time bass. My report is still second hand, but the good news is I will have my boat at some point next week for sure; spare me a little break in time and I will be back at it!
Fishing is good, yes, the bass are in groups, so you must find them but when you do you will catch several in a short period of time. Baits are still very much the same, Picasso Umbrella rigs, SPRO rattle baits (Aruka shad) Picasso shock blade chatter baits, Tight-Line jigs were most effective this past week. Fishing is 6 to 14 ft. depending on cover water temperature and current.
