Bass fishing is good. With the lake up, the bass have had plenty of room to roam and they seem to be taking full advantage of it. Fish pockets off the main lake points. Carolina rigged plastics, worms, lizards and tubes will work. Better bass biting with cranking the banks on the points and the flats on either side with several baits. Rapala Shad Raps and Rapala DT6 baits are working all during the day in these areas. The water is clear and a good steady retrieve is all it takes. Use light line and get the baits and little deeper with some added Storm Suspend Strips. Use the 10 pound Sufix Elite line and the longer you can make the cast, the better.
