LAKE SEMINOLE IS FULL, STAINED & 60S


Bass fishing is great and the fish are shallow. Tandem spin models and double willow blade baits just right for retrieving through the grass water willow. On any of the models, gold blades have probably been the best overall, with silver, copper and colored blades also producing. Chartreuse and white combination skirts have been good along with black chartreuse, blue chartreuse and blue white. Crank bait shallow and Super Flukes are also hot. Small baits with small blades have produced well with blue skies and bright sun. A 5 inch Senko in the June bug color has shined as a comeback bait for missed strikes on the spinner bait. Zoom lizards in 5 or 6 inch sizes have done well rigged both Texas and Carolina style. Try to use the lightest weight possible for the conditions. Small to medium size crank baits are still catching a few fish, also. Also use the buzz bait. This bait may not draw but one or two bites, possibly the largest of the day.
