Bass fishing is very good. A Stanley spinner bait in the 3/8 ounce size with white or chartreuse skirts cast to the points and shallow back cover will get the fish to attack this lure. Use slow moving lures and works, Flukes and trick worms are the best baits. The early bite starts on anything in the water in the shallows. All day, use almost any color of Zoom’s trick worm. Skip or cast the bait past the cover and pull the lure and let it drop right into the cover. Use the spinner baits in the 3/8 ounce size with silver and gold blades in either the willow leaf or Colorado combinations has been working. Never overlook the rivers on this lake and large jigs and huge grubs will work.
