Bass fishing is fair. Use the Kaci’s Custom jig and a jig head finesse worm on points where current is present. Be sure to find the major rock points. There is also a good bite on soft jerk baits like the big bite jerk minnow. Use the weighted Gamakatsu EWG hook. The bite is best with the bait about three to four feet under the surface. Cranks and spinnerbaits are also working. With the water up, the lake fishes bigger. Use baits that cover water, and when you find a concentration of fish slow down with jigs. Try the Luck Craft 3/8 ounce Redemption spinner baits in bright colors on the rocky points mid to south lake.
