Bass fishing is fair. Top water is fair earl on the Pop R and small Zara Spook Jr and fish them around shadows early and late. Now spend the day with the shaky head and worm or worm on a drop shot rig. Experiment with jig head sizes and worm lengths some time lighter and smaller is better. The 1/8 to 3/16 is standard jig head weight for this time of year. With a cool day use the jerk bait and the under spins for these fish. Keep a Zoom Super Fluke in pearl and the Alabama rig ready all day and run the points with the larger rock formations. While the bites on this pattern are fewer, the size is much better consistently. The top water bite can pick up with the cooling weather. The sun is often the key to get those fish up on top.
