Last Friday, four of our fellow Fishing Guides joined Adam and me to fish with twenty-nine employees of a Business Group from the DFW area. It's very enjoyable to join your fishing guide friends to accommodate large Groups and fish together! It's also great to have the extra help cleaning all those fish at the end of the trip! Friday was a very calm & hot day and the fishing is normally pretty tough in those conditions. The White Bass and Hybrid Stripers were not as cooperative as you would like, so several of the Guides went for Catfish. At the end of the morning, the results were good and as you can see from the Picture of the Guides and the Cleaning Table, there was a lot of fish for the Friday Evening Fish Fry!




The Group caught Blue & Channel Catfish, Crappie, White Bass, Yellow Bass, & Hybrid Stripers and once again Richland Chambers produced well even under tough Summer conditions! All the Catfish were caught on Danny Kings Punch Bait and most were caught on or near the Creek Channel on the Richland Arm of the Lake in water depths ranging from 10'-25' feet of water. The White Bass were caught on Points and Humps on RSR Slabs in water depths of 15'-20'.


Adam and I have WEEKDAY OPENINGS in September and October and we know the fishing will get even better as the Fall Cool Fronts take us from the Summer to my FAVORITE TIME OF THE YEAR. I love October and November as the fish are more aggressive, there's little to no boat traffic on the Lake and the Season is the Best of the Best!
