As many of you have heard me say or write, Fall is my favorite time of the year and October and November are my favorite months of the year! There are several reasons for this and a few are the (1) Great Weather, (2) I love the Holidays and especially Thanksgiving, and (3) Awesome Fishing! While it's still a few more weeks till Turkey Day, our Customers and us have certainly enjoyed the last couple of weeks as the hot Summer of 2019 is behind us and the Catfish are on a Great Bite! The Eater Size Channel and Blue Cats are already in their Fall and Winter haunts and will be for the remainder of the year and even into the Winter of 2020. We're fishing the Richland Creek Channel in timbered areas and catching Cats on Danny Kings Punch Bait on a # 4 Treble Hook. While the depth may vary from day to day, most times the fish can be found in water ranging from 15'-25' foot of water. Lately we're catching our better fish about 6' below the surface but in water that's 20' feet deep. As the weather and water continues to cool, we'll be catching larger Blues and getting the net our more often.
