stuper bowl
I'm a payton fan. I hope they win. BUT I'm not going to watch. 3 plus hours of BS. It's just a game.I forgot what player said,"if it was the super bowl, why is there another one?"Did you know that the NFL is a tax exempt organization? The amount of commercials turned me off years ago. I can watch the highlights and enjoy the 10 minutes of actual football.

I will watch the game, because it is the championship of the greatest sports league on the planet. As for the tax exempt status, it is only the league office itself. The teams and players are paying plenty of taxes, but the league office receives funding from the teams to cover activities including office rent, League Office salaries, and game officiating.
I don't agree that the NFL cororate office should be getting tax exempt status and you can think all of your politicians for this. One is trying to get it changed but without much luck. I am posting a link to an article about this which states "if all the professional league offices followed suit, Americans could recapture the estimated $91 million that goes each year for the subsidy."

I want to see Peyton get another ring and that's one of two reasons I want the Broncos to win. The other is I just don't care for Pete Caroll. Just didn't like him at USC or New England and don't remember much about him at the Jets.
I respect perfection or the next best thing and Peyton along with Eli and the rest of the Manning's just seem to represent a good side of the NFL. Much rather see his face on the NFL news than a Vick or some other fool doing stupid junk.....yeah I know Vick isn't playing but he came to mind.
