RE: Brookville Striper Kill
Way to Slowretrieve, get it started again.LOL Jsy and myself were at raccoon over the weekend. Not even a sniff. We do need some rain, especially before they start the drawdowns. That will put the hurt to the lineside fish. Thanks for the confirmation. Nice to know that someone will respond to questions.
RE: Brookville Striper Kill
Well according to the weather your wish for rain is granted, up in NE Indiana they are calling for rain for the next 5 or 6 days, I am sure they will get some down south as well. As much as the DND is ridiculed on here and other places, they do a good job, and they are very fast and helpful at providing answers as shown in the first post. If I have a question or notice something odd or strange they tend to get back to me within a day or two.

Uumm! Someone owes us an APOLOGY! You know who you are.
RE: Brookville Striper Kill
Hey, YAZ; Mr. Piggy and I fished Monroe on Friday 10/14/5 and again the morn of 10/15/5. On Friday I got a 7.5 wiper and a 5.0 and Mr. Piggy got a 3.5 and a 2.5 pounder. On Saturday Mr. Piggy got none and I got a 5.5, a 4.5 and a 2.5 pounder. Friday it was clear skies and the water was a deep green and we trolled 3" silver spoons. Saturday it was windy and whitecapping and the water looked like coffee without enough cream. Mr. Piggy stuck with the spoons and caught nada and I switched to diving Thunder Sticks in tiger colors and got mine. I imagine until the lake goes dry or winter sets in they will continue to bite on Monroe.

And you are right, Crappie, they did get right back to me on that. Hopefully, the rain will do us some good. I was going to fish Brookville tomorrow (Friday) but they're predicting 100 % chance of rain; it's only about a 50% chance on Monroe so I guess I know where I'll be headed. Good luck.

Slowretrieve,
Good deal! Keep the hammer on 'em. I'm putting the boat up to get some deer meat in the freezer. I can't do both. I can only concentrate on one habit at a time. Keep me posted. I'm going to try to get out again, provided I get a deer or two.
Thanks,
Yaz
