Re: Ky Lake 3-18 thru 3-22
HI.... I will be down there during the same time period! LOL. I too hope th weather really settles down a bit. I am using a guide on blood river saturday, and spoke to him yesterday, he said that black crappie are being taken in some decent numbers but it is still a little slow due to the cold rain and high water levels. Hw stated that water is being drawn down at a fast rate as well.
Anyway, good luck.

Good luck to you as well. I'll be on the north end looking for those green fish. A great guide (Dave) once told me that mid March was the best time for the big bass and I sure would like to hook into a few. I just affraid the conditions won't be good.

The water level on Kentucky Lake is still rising. They are dumping a lot of water through the dam but there is more water coming in than going out. The best site, that I have found, for watching the lake levels is http://www.tva.gov/lakes/kyh_r.htm this will give you the predictions for the next couple of days. Take the predictions at what they are. They are only predictions. They are predicting a little over summer pool by Friday.
