Lineless bi-focal with polarized lenses. Wouldn't be without em. Got the darkest tint I could get at Lens Crafters. Babies aren't cheap. 250-325 with discount.
If you don't require corrective lenses I'd get the cheapest POLARIZED I could find.
Maybe I wasn't clear, but mine are also polarized prescription lenses. Bifocal with lines. The best clip-ons I could find are the ones that slide behind your lenses. These don't actually clip on, so they don't scratch at all, plus they wrap around, so you get good wind protection. But they look goofy, and they're still not as nice as the 'scrip glasses.
The difference in the price is the polarization film and the fit. It was explained to me that all polarized glasses have a film basically like window tint. On the cheaper models it can be damaged by scratches because it is on the front or back of the lenses. On your better brands it is laid in between the layers of the lenses so it is protected even if you get a small scratch on the outside. Owned a few of the cheaper bps polarized glasses and can say from experience that this film will scratch off. Broke down and bought a pair of Bolles and they have been great. Come with a decent case and wiping cloth and don't bother my nose, temples, or ears. They are made to use several fit points and put less pressure on each spot. They were just a hair over $100 and I wouldn't trade them for another pair. Tried on some of the pricier Oakley's and Costa Del Mar's and for the comfort I am very happy with mine. They fit snug but not too tight. Haven't lost them to the lake yet. Knock on wood. I keep them in their case in a glove box when not in use and then they go straight to my face and when i'm done back to the case and the glove box. I never lay them on the deck because that seems to be a good way to kick a hat and/or glasses straight into the water. Good luck on whichever you choose. They will help your vision and protect your eyes from damaging uv rays.
