It was mentioned in an earlier post. What does Triton pay Hackney a year? How long has he been getting that money? How much longer will he be getting that money? If they give him a boat and a 100K in a five year deal, he breaks even. If it is say a seven year deal than he comes out ahead.

What do you think KVD gets from Nitro a year? I bet I could pay off my house and send my daughter to college.

I also agree with who ever said if it was not for the weekend fishermen that buy all the baits, rods etc then there would not be big time fishing tournaments and big time sponsorship. I commend them for giving something back to the fan. When has pro football or basketball given anything back?

I might be wrong and if I am, maybe Bereabasser can let me know. I think that the money won will be paid in yearly installments. Bereabass please let me know if you can. And tell your dad congratulations he did really good.

I'm not sure how much they pay Hackney but I know that in sponsorships a year Skeet gets payed around $600,000 and KVD gets approximately $500,000 now this is in total sponsorships how much is boat idk but it kinda gives you a starting point it drops pretty fast after that I think IKE was next and it wasnt anywhere near those two.

Just a thought here. If one of the Ranger pros would have won the 1 million do you think they might have given some back to Ranger? The company is in a bankruptcy state right now and yes I know Ranger is doing the best out of all the company’s that fall under the umbrella but since Ranger has given so much do you think any of the pros would offer to help them back by only taking half of the bonus????? Just food for thought.

On the other hand...if the pro that has been supporting them for years fell into bankruptcy, would Ranger be sending him money to help him out?

Are you kidding none make a living fishing . What do you call a living??? Click on some of their names and look at the winnings !!! 900 thousand .1.2 million 2.5 mill. SEVERAL over a mil. To put it in real terms a person would have to make 40,000 a year for 25 years to earn a million !!!!!

Ok just realize that ALOT of flw money comes from you die hard bfl guys. JUst one time look at what they take in on entry fees versus what they pay back WOW !!!!!!! Multiply that by all the divisions...... They should be arrested ..lol OH yea don't forget that membership .............

I am dead serious, check out their expenses versus their earnings. $50,000 per year in entry fees, hotel rooms for 150 days per year etc. Trust me, these guys ae making their money from their sponsor contracts. How much of that over $3 million that KVD has ammassed over these past 20 years, do you think he got expense free?

You are confused, I said they didn't make a living off tournament earnings and I will stand by that statement.

Tim you would know better than anyone and most of those guys haven't won near the money KVD has.

Don't like it then don't participate.
