As normal.............man it was TOUGH............2 bites...........no fish :( .
I think I'm getting the idea though............SAVE your MONEY and go to KY. :) .
Actually I was trying some new spots tonight, and I will try them again but I think I either REALLY ****, or fishing is just slow.
Later,
Geo

the last couple times i've been up there i have been targetting smallies. just been fishing A LOT of soft plastics, notably crawfish imitations on shaky heads, texas and carolina. most of my luck has been on trick stick worms lately on shaky heads (varying weight) in crawdad similar colors for this time of year. had some good luck, with the largest around 4 lbs (these are the first times i have ever fished for smallies, so i am just givin you what worked for me. i've caught about a dozen smallies in my life, all this year, so i'm VERY new when it comes to fishing for them). i had some people with me try burning some spinnerbaits over deep grass with no luck.
steveM4A1...are u fishing points or what im new to fishing for smallies also.
i always fish the main points for largies but have tried for smallies with no luck? i figured it would work but hasn't for me yet. i'm usually fishing 10-15 ft of water by some rocks
thanks...if i go this weekend ill let ya know how i did
