Has anyone been fishing the good old CR?????
most boats are catching trout in the boils on shad and shinners. also catching lots of small stripers and a bigger one now and then. catfish are being caught in the still water and a few walleyes also. lots of drum (perch to you ohio river fishermen) caught on nightcrawlers.
Thanks rooster. Maybe making a trip down this weekend!!! Do you know what the water color and level are? I know they are pulling 3,400cfs out of the dam. Any info helps thanks alot!!!!
water is crystal clear. it is about 6 to 10 foot deep with some shallow spots and about 16 foot deep next to the dam. you might try jigs tipped with minnows up next to the dam in the slack water for walleyes and crappie and spoons in the boils for trout and stripers.
