Tim is right but if the NBA takes Polythress, Goodwin or Harrow they are going to be sorry. I'm not hatin but stating facts here, those three are about as ready for the NBA as Flylie is....They are not emotionally ready, maturity level is still at a young tennager status and quite frankly they aren't that good. Will they be.....maybe, but right now NO WAY.
Cauley Stein is big and that it, he's slow, real slow and has NO defense. Can't make free throws and offense is weak at best. Potential................maybe down the road but I can't see any of those guys making it in the league right now...NO WAY.
I completely agree with everything most everybodys said, BUTTTT....if your options are coming back to college and not really improving, you won't get drafted....Times have changed and upper classmen aren't drafted in the first round anymore....Your other option is leaving right now, getting taken in the first round because of your potential, and getting guaranteed money, what would you do....Lets be honest, you can say whatever you want about a college education and how that will improve their life down the road, but how many of these guys are going to college to get a degree and become a part of the middle class working world? If a guy gets drafted and gets 1 million guaranteed (which is very small for what athletes are paid these days), how long would it take him to make that same million working 8-5....Times aint what they used to be and I don't blame these guys one bit for going after their dream
On a side note, I'll be extremely happy to see Archie and Poythress gone....I've heard some chatter that Nerlens is considering coming back, which I think would be a huge mistake on his part...Go get the money young fella
