Re: A novel idea
Obama and the Dems want blanket amnesty for the estimated 13 million illegals in the U.S. . The Dream Act is just a start. No matter what the number, who do you think they will vote for? Common sense will tell you that it would be for the party that gave them the right to vote. Obama and the Dems want card check. Why? Because unions support the Dems and it would make it easier to form unions and unions support the Dems by donating money made from union dues to the party. People don't really care about the exact percent of unemployed people because it doesn't count the unemployed that have run out of benefits or those that stopped looking for work. What they do care about is putting food on the table, protecting their families, and staying healthy. This is hard to do when so many people are out of work and losing that pay check, and healthcare benefits. Some people become desperate and the crime rate goes up because a man needs to feed his family. These people see that Michele Obama spent $1800.00 for room service in a hotel for a 3 day stay and Obama's pals spending close to $40,000.00 to eat cake with him. He didn't do anything during this last budget ceiling debate. He didn't even have a plan. This makes people angry. Millions of people were waiting for his "shovel ready projects" so they could have a chance to get back on their feet again, and when they failed he made jokes about it. When Bush wanted to raise the debt ceiling he voted no and said that Bush showed a lack of leadership. He has not shown any leadership since he has been in office. He has ruined our economy with his reckless spending, pitted the Federal Government against the States and made our country the laughing stock of the world. Jimmy Carter is loving Obama right now because he's no longer the worst president we ever had. Our government will be in gridlock for the rest of his term because he has not shown any competence in his job and the republicans won't let him have the keys to the car that was in the ditch because he just drove it in deeper. In 2012 a republican president with a wrecker will pull the car out without further damage to it.

Re: A novel idea
I don't know exactaly what time frame Michele Bachman is counting from for her sustained comment but if you look at unemployment rates from Apr. 1982 thru Sept. 1983 you won't find a rate lower than 9.2% and 10 out of 18 months over 10% so I guess she just decide to skip that time frame since Reagan was POTUS but of course that was all Carters fault, never mind I forgot that a previous administration can't be blamed for problems.
Judging from this was comment from you I'd say you're a democrat by choice, perhaps even a union worker??????? I don't know...all I'm saying is this is what you present yourself as being...nothing wrong with it at all, just sayin'....
People in general, men, women, blacks, whites, mexicans, chinese, democrat and republican....EVERYONE needs to take their blind fold off and realize that Obama truly is the worst thing to happen to the United States ever.
1. All politicians past and present are responsible for the shape the United States is in today.
3. Yes, it's true....Jimmy Carter really is loving Obama right now. Carter is now out of the hot seat of being the worst president in history.
When the new 2012 president pulls the car out of the ditch he better do it gently, handle it with care and show it lots of love and attention....because it's just about broke down and beyond repair almost.

Well at least were back to you throwing out the number 13 million again. I'm done with the specutlive amnesty talk, so I guess we can rejoin it at a later date when it actually happens.
You know both parties has support from certain groups and they do things to keep them happy. Sadly it's just the way things are and part of the game.
I know you pubs like to throw out the 14 trillion dollar debt number and while it is a staggering number have you ever took the time to actually look and see the debt % increase of past POTUS and compare them to Obama?
Know who said this "Reagan proved deficits don't matter"? **** Cheney
Again I'm not defending policies or the way Obama has handled things just throwing out different ways to look at things.

You sure read a lot into a reply I made where I pointed out some actual facts that maybe you don't believe or choose not to, no sweat off my back you can look it up yourself.
I have left leaning ideas for the most part but I've voted for a few Pubs through the years, even voted for W. once. Never been a union member but have no problem with them for the most part.
I'll glady return the blinfold I borrowed from the W. defenders when the time comes.
Good luck in 2012.
