How is the water at Laurel? Frozen? Up/Down? Clarity?
I'm taking my son on Saturday. Fishin fever has got us both.
Never been there before. I'm putting in @ Craigs creek or Holly Bay.
Any help is appreciated

Well, cousin came in from Indiana (he has an annual NR fishing license) so we had "THE Game Plan" (or so I thought) . We'd leave Grove and head down river and fish around the 312 bridge and try for some nice flatheads and whatever else might hit some nice big shiners we had.......
"THE game plan" was foiled however when we got nearly there and the river was FROZEN!!! I broke some ice with the pontoons, but when I hit clear water then seen 2"+ ice I said NOPE, turned around and went back........
Fished some coves that were "somewhat sheltered" from the high winds one huge rainbow hooked (by the wife) but lost at the boat , only fish any of the four of us even hooked ...
Bubba, how did you do at laurel? Igot my trolling motor going I used a volt meter to find the 24v wire and then wired my troller to it. I ready for the hollow are you
