Just a guess, but maybe you remove internet cookies from time to time. If so, you remove the one for this board so you have to log in again.

When I log in to the Fishin.com board I have the option of remember me and I always check it. Sometimes for days at a time I will come back to the board and will still be logged in which is what I prefer. Sometimes when I come back to the board I'm not logged in and have to retype user name and password and check remember me box. It is not any big deal having to log in again I was just wondering what changes ?

That is what happens to me. About once a week I run an "anti-spyware" program and history/cookie cleaner. After that I have to log in again and in a couple of sites I have to set my preferences again. It took a couple of times to figure it out on this new Fishing.com board but that was the problem. This happens even though I put Fishin.com cookies in the "good guys" column.

It still kicks me out after an hour or so even if I never close my browser window. I've also instructed my browser to specifically accept cookies from this site. It's not a big deal to me, just thought I'd mention it.
Just curious if Fishin.com is the only site this happens on or do you lose setting on other sites as well, e.g. the weather channel.
If fishin.com is the only one, you might contact Peter or Jim and see if they have a suggestion. If it is all sites, you may have something set in your security system that cleans cookie automaticly after an hour (or some set time).
Just a thought,

It doesn't bother me to have to log back in. There's really only one other board that I frequent and I stay logged into that one as long as my browser stays open. For Fishin.com, I'm logged out after about an hour or so (don't know the exact time)
I've found if I do any cookie clean up or delete history I have to reboot. Otherwise I have a laptop and am on and off the web connection and stay logged on... It might be you have the delete history set for a day or less...just a thought
Rather be fishin than typin
