Water Temps

If you get out this weekend or any day next week, would you mind sharing the body of water and the range in temps?

Also, has anyone been by or on Geist yet? I'm assuming it is soft after the 3" rain. Any input would be appreciated.

Fished Geist Sat 1pm to 5pm. Water temp 44-46.

Monroe Sunday; 41-46 yes the fish were biting.

Fished Cataract on Sat 3/17/07; noon till 6:30pm, for Walleye. No luck on the eyes but water temp was 40 to 45. The lake is ridiculously up. the main boat ramp parking lot is aproximately 25 under water!!

Patoka water is around 48'. Check the south facing banks and you will find some 52' water and there is where the crappie will be. Four times out and 75 is the least we have caught. Caught about 150 today. Only kept one mess and they were mostly 13 and 14 inches. Using jigs under bobbers at 18" to 24".

38* to 40* (muddy water was 40*) Rest of lake was 38* ,,, The water is up about 5ft.

Has anyone been on Geist in the past few days? I'm guessing the temps have to be pushing 60+. We were out on Saturday and found some water at 58 degrees by mid afternoon. Most of the lake looked like chocolate milk. The lower half of the lake was "cleaner" but still extremely turbid.

Also, can anyone tell me the entry fee for this weekends open tournament on Geist? I went to www.indianabasstournaments.com but I can't read the flyer they have posted on the site.
