    Attn. Jim Dicken not good....

Jim I'm not trying to start touble hear, but you might tell your new fish reporter for Herrington Lake that the Hybrid bass regs are 15 inches. In his report he says he kept 10 all over 12 inches, he's incremenanting himself on line and he posted a picture of them too. LOL. Just thought I would point out the guy needs to learn the law at least before becoming a lake reporter for this site don't ya think. BTW, none or maybe one or two of those hybrids are legal size judging by the picture. There is also a daily creel of five per day not ten. No wonder there aren't any hybrids left in Herrington Lake.

Where did you get that size limit from? It used to be you couldnt keep but 5 over 15 inch's. Kentucky 2007 Fishing guide doesnt even show no special regs for Herrington this year. Correct me if I am wrong. But I cant find it in the reg book for 2007.

I don't believe there is a size limit on whites or hybrids on Herrington. You just can't keep more than 5 over 15".

U may have read the line just under hybrids that is for stripers. No biggy we all make mistakes sometimes. I just wanted to correct it bfor someone thought you was right. And there is still plenty of hybrids in herrington man so go catch ya some of those line stretchin super fighting fish. Its a blast to get em on ultralight equipment and them weighing 3 to 10 lbs. Nighttime is best. All my big ones go back I only eat the ones around 12 inch's and they eat pretty good.

    LMAO... OK here goes..
The size limit applies only to the NUMBER over 15 inches. You can keep significantly more fish under 15 the reason being that Fish and Wildlife assumes that most fish under 15 are white bass and most OVER are hybrids..
There is no minimum size limit due to the fact that white bass and hybrids are so hard to distinguish.
