    Re: WARNING!

Guys, no insult meant, but why aren't you guys on the "no call" list? There's even one for cell phones. I have all our phones on these lists, and to be honest, I have not yet gotten the very first of these "steal your identity" calls Jim has warned us about.

I strongly advise you all to look into getting your numbers on the no call lists so your number isn't in circulation.

We did once, a year or so ago, get a call from one of those condo sales places, and it was where a friend of my wife had given them our number. After I talked with the lady, trust me, she won't give our number out again.

Also, it doesn't hurt to have an unlisted number.

    Re: WARNING!

I had my number on one of those don't call lists and it did work for awhile, but then they started coming back again and again and again and again well you get the point. I even filed a complaint but I was told that the number is sold to third, fourth, fifth parties and that there was no way they could stop all calls. So for now it is either not answer the phone or hang up when I find it is someone I don't know.

I am on the NO Call list. The Illegal People ignore the DNC list. Then too if they are calling acting like they are your CREDIT CARD company offering you a discount rate.. welllll how would that be a sales call?
Like Guns.. if you take them away only criminals will have guns..
with the no call list, folks trying to scr@# you will not bother with it.

Phone Solicitors can run a sequence of numbers.. unlisted only means not in a phone book.

Danny my wife put us in the no call list just before I went on my 10 day fishing triplast year, I sorta forgot to call her. When I got home she said it would have been nice to hear the phone ring. I reminded her she put us on the no call list---- I sure miss her.

LMBO Reckon I can get my wife on that list. The only time she calls me is to remind me that while I'm enjoying myself on the lake she is at home with the kids. I believe I would rather have the call from the scammers LOL

I am on the no call list as well. Who knows if it was the scam artists calling me because when i picked up and didn't hear a live person....it's hang up time.
