    Good Spinning Combo?

Whats a good spinning combo under $45 bucks that i can get at bass pro? I have been looking at the bill dance spinning combos. Any suggestions on this or any others? Thanks!

You would be better off just getting the 30 or 40 dollar combo from walmart than you would the bill dance set up,you will be lucky to get a season from it.If you do want to buy it at bass pro,get one of there labeled brands at that price. That bill dance combos just feel kinda shabby and you can already feel the wobble and here the bearings right in the store.Good luck....John

Picked up a Mitchell Advocet combo at Wally world last year. Makes a good multi purpose rig and been very happy with it for the money.

The Pflueger spinning combos are well worth the price. I've told several buddies to buy one, and they did, and have been very happy with them. I have three myself! You just can't get better quality for no more than what you pay for! Pflueger spinnings reels are awesome!!!

What Pflueger models are you referring to? The trion looks like a pretty good spinning reel. I wonder if bass pro has them in a combo. Thanks!

Yep, Bass Pro does have a combo with the Trions - that's what I've got. The President is a little more expensive, but the Trion is pretty much all I need - it's smooth, handles good, and is just an all around good reel.

The trion combo includes a Pflueger rod - I believe the combo is about $65 but it is either on sale now or was on sale a week ago for around $50....

I got my Mitchell Avocet/Berkley Lightning Rod combo off of Fisherman's Factory Outlet for about $55 including shipping, and I'm very happy with it.
