    Dusted Off The Wonderbread

    Hey Andrew,

I dusted off the Wonderbread last Sun morning for about an hour. Had 4 fish and several hits. May have to look into a boat trip up my way soon. Way too deep to wade and I'd like for you to try some of those bigger chinks of wood a fair piece upstream where the bigger boats can't get to.
UpaCrick tested several baits over the bank behind my new house.

    Hey Billy,
How you been? Was at BWs couple of weeks ago and they said you had been busy working on the house.
Went to Laurel for the BFL. Finished 36th with a little over 8lbs. Wish the tournament was a day earlier. I had about 18lbs with an 8lb kicker. Spent a couple of hours on tourny day trying to get her in the boat again. Oh well. My co-angler finished 4th so that was a good deal.
We will have to hook up for some creek fishing this summer.

Dag...someone left the door open and look what walked in, it's a Shadrap of sorts...Hey, I had been wondering what had happened to you but didn't bother asking...have you fished Elkhorn lately, if so how was it in general?

Went on a float a couple of Fridays ago when the flow was high. Had 3 out of 8 that were over 15". The flow was about 1000cfs. The fish should be on the bed now. And it looks like we might have another decent spawn.

With this warm weather the canoe, kayak brigades will be gearing up. So you'll have to find spots out of the paddling runs or deal with it. I just avoid it.
My reports will mostly be from up in some unchartered waters. You guys may have to Canoe up and give me a yell. I have a good little launch area behind my new home.

Sounds like you are settling in to the new place well. I have some new stuff that we need to try out this year. Oh, I talked to a few YYZ smallies this past weekend. They said to tell you thanks for moving

Nah, I really have no intention of making more than a few for myself and some friends. Turned another batch last night
