I talked to Steve Headrick last night on my way down to Ky Lake to night fish and he said they are killing the Smallies at night. He had 17 fish in 3 hours and all the local smallie tourneys are weighing in SEVERAL keepers over the slot each tourney. The night bite is defineately on at Dale Hollow. He has fished more this year in many years past because the bite is so good. I did not ask specifics on what they are catching them on but I bet it is a jig on main and secondary points.

fished friday and got one over 22 on a blue/w/red metal flake old culprit style worm, maybe 7 inches, temp was 71, fished near the back of sulpher creek , throwing into the bank coming out in 13-15 foot of water, mid day till dark,

partner hit the 22" plus, I fished live shad and he skunked me hard to belive

we boated lot of fish maybe 7 or more in a short time
