Was just wondering where is this place.
Ah, I don't think Backwaters has anything to worry about once the new car smell wears off. Keep taking care of the customers that you've got and make sure that you've got what they are asking for in stock. Sportsman's Warehouse will probably do fine too, because I think you could put a chocolate covered turd store over there and Johnny Hamburg would want a piece of the action.
I had an uncle of mine from Campbellsville in town this weekend and he wanted to check out their reloading supplies. (He's big into hunting/guns/reloading.) I strolled through the fishing department and saw some of the stuff yall are talking about. They won't keep all of the serious anglers if they don't keep the stuff in stock.
Anybody seen the fishing reports boards out in the hallway? Where's the Elk Horn River? Also, somebody needs to get off their dead keister and update the Jacobson Park report...![]()
Ha ha.. I needed some back home time so i logged on. I'm in UConn country at a sales class and i miss Lexington already and have only been here two days! I guess those chain stores can blow smoke up the average angler's keister but the diehard guys can weed through the junk. I was in there a couple of weeks ago and noticed the reports as well. LOL According to they're report there are stripers in the lake at Jacobson Park. This would really suprise me if thats true.
I know that fish from Lake Ellerslie swim through the culvert into Jacobson Park and we stock Hybrids ands Walleye in our club.![]()
