    Fall movement

What water temps will get the fish to start moving out of their summer patterns? I want to get a better start this year than I did last year.

When they get below 75 to 77 degrees it's gonna be ON. There will be some up before then but the real feed bag will come on when some big drop's occur. Now my beloved smallmouth like it cooler than that. 60 to 68 is primetime for them ole brown fish, I can't wait..................Yeeha.

Hard to put a date (even a semi-firm). I remember when they brought Championship Fishing to Herrington, Guist & Taylorsville in October and the bass were still out in the main lake suspended. Maybe watch the shad and when they start moving into the creeks get on them.

You had asked the right question for sure. It's about water temps not time of year. Good luck and catch a hawg.
