there is an add on the off topic board for porno... how do these people post this?

The mods will get it deleted I'm sure...they aren't sitting here watching the forum 24/7/365. The porn sites and spammers are everywhere, trust me. I do all of the member validations for another national fishing website and they are trying to get in every day...by the boatload...to post their ads, spam, crap, videos, etc. It's constant. They are also getting slicker at getting around email validations. It's not easy to keep'em out, so to only see it every once in awhile here isn't bad.

Hit the "alert" button at top right of the post and let the mods know.

I wasn't sure either of you had sent an alert to the modirators or not, so I sent an alert. When ever you come across something like this, please send an alert. I know back when I moderated here, the alerts are huge helps.

Those alerts are definitely a big help. Many thanks to the folks who send them.

Like Splitshot noted, spammers are not welcome here. I'm pretty sure some of it is done with bots and other non-human methods. They'll try anything to post their crap here and anywhere else. If you see the porn ads, medical ads, or any of that other garbage, please hit the alert button so a mod can remove it.

Oh yeah, the alert button is the small red/white triangle with the '!' in the middle in the upper right of a post. If you click that you can send a report to the mods.

Yes. Hit the yellow triangle at the bottom of the post. This will alert all the mods.
