headed back to taylorsville again today after work, has much changed since last week?? Water temp, color, etc?? Last week I caught 5 after work but no keepers, hoping to do a little better on the quality this time.

well considering there were 150 something views and no responses on how the lake was, I decided to do some of the same things I did last week.. We caught about 7 or 8 bass yesterday with only one keeper.. Did have one that measured just under 15" that was very very fat and healthy..

I don't fish Taylorville much anymore therefore I wouldn't comment on anything, didn't want to give bad advice. Thanks for the report I almost asked you yesterday if you wanted some company, I need to get out awhile. Sounds like you did alright for the Ville.

I've never been on a lake like taylorsville where the fish finder is constantly going off showing fish... its like no matter where you go, the thing is covered with fish. Too much baitfish in the lake. Caught all fish on small crankbaits bouncing off the wood on near the middle of the creeks channel

the gazillion tree tops will cause a busy finder also.i'm off work the next 3 weeks did you hear of any crappie reports.

No I didn't hear of any reports but did notice alot of schools of fish on the graph around 13 ft deep or so and they were more than likely crappie.

went sunday and took daughter and dog.I caught maybe 15 fish, 5 keepers all arounnd 15.5 inches long. When back yesterday and caught 12 with one at 17 inches and one at 21.5 inches.

For the Ville that ain't bad at all. You probably need to get in one of the 75 tournaments they have every week up there. What did that 21.5 weigh, nice fish?

What are you getting them on Crankitup?? I could only get them to hit small crankbaits the other day but maybe i'm trying the wrong things

Went today from 2-8pm, hit many spots and threw everything in the boat. The fish I caught came from the trees on main lake with the boat in 25-50 feet of water. The only bait that caught fish was a jig, it put 18 in the boat, 3 were keepers, biggest was just shy of 5 lbs. There were shad everywhere, and I mean BIG schools, from 3 inch to 7 inch shad. I fished spinner and crankbaits under them with no luck.
