It looks much like a salmon spoon, nearly five inches long, almost one ounce. Jordans are supposedly made by a luremaker friend in Texas.

yea there made by a place down on his home lake.Lake Fork
Thanks, I appreciate the info and the link.
These spoons are selling like hotcakes around here (around ky lake). I was talking to an owner of a tackle store in Benton that sells them as fast as they put them out. All of the ones I saw were custom made (no brand), and very inexpensive. I bought one, I guess for the same reason everyone else did. Even after seeing them produce on tv, I still have my doubts - but I will definitely give it a try.
I heard the actual spoons from Lake Fork cost around $20... Still havn't heard the guy's name who makes them.
I sure do wish I was that guy after that show airedGood grief, gonna be like a big chili cookoff 'round here next year with all the spoons flyin round....
you can check out the mail order books under salmon fishing gear and find some good deals on spoons of all sizes and finishs smooth hammered, silver or chrome or gold. When we lived in Alaska we always used red devel brand lure I don't know if they are still around but we would wear the hooks off of those things. and heres a hint, if you ever want a gold spoon or blades on spinners and you just can not find the one with the blade style you like. go to an auto parts store and get the liquid gold finish they use on pimping out cars one jar will do a ton of blades
Never mind.........I'm having conscience issue because I had promised not to tell. Sorry.
