I keep hearing about how low the water is getting, will we be able to launch at Horse Creek, or should there be a plan "B".
Wow - I was going to finalize reservations for this event this week, and now Billy's not going and there's a question about whether we can launch. I've never been to Dale Hollow, but is this even unraveling?
I have talked to Thomas and he assures me that the ramp at Horse Creek will be open no matter what. He has already made arrangements for some 3" Gravel and as the water drops he is putting it down to keep the ramp even past the concrete. Bob Coan says that the ramp is fine and that the work Thomas has done so far is excellent and there is no problem with launching. PLUS we may get some rain by then and the lake may come up some.. cross your fingers that we do, but remember... LESS WATER fish more concentrated and the 12 pounder will be easier to find.

Last year there was talk about some shirts, did anything come out of that never did hear?
We have some T-shirts available.. Not sure what Peter wants for them. Some actually have shirt breast pockets for glasses etc.. (My Idea) I can bring some to the get together if you like.. Better yet maybe we can get Peter to come.
Well, my brother now has to travel overseas for work so that means I'm flying solo. I'd still really like to come down, although I might just come down for a single day and not spend the money for lodging by myself.
If anyone has a spare seat in their boat, let me know.
Temptation-Temptation: Almost went last year, but could"t due to other conficts. This time, COUNT ME IN!(hint, wife says it's ok).
FNF is new to me. Tried it a couple of times on my own at LC, but no luck. Technique or just not on the fish, don't know?? Hope the group can teach me a thing or two.
I will have an OPEN SEAT in my boat and would welcome anyone to join me. Just send me a PM and we can work out the details.

Just got off the phone with HorseCreek-Resort and booked a room for Friday and Saturday night.
The wife and I plan on arrving in time for the dinner Friday night. My wife does't fish.
Fishrgurl will be joining me in my boat on Saturday.
Gary
I'm looking forward to it and I really appreciate you letting me tag along.
Thanks!
Michael
Folks let Jim know what and who's going////
I'm going.
Will see if I can capture some instructional stuff on video.
Since I'll have the camera, if anybody has any kind of fishing tips they would like to share I will be glad to film and post on the site.
Peter
I would like to go and learn more about this, but I do not have a boat I can use right now or any float and fly gear. If someone did not mind me tagging along on saturday I would be glad to chip in on some gas\food money. I just like fishing Dale and have not got to go this year. I could watch and fish with my regular spinning gear.
