I got out on the cooper river this weekend and managed a good limit. This is the best fish for the day.

Wish I could grow that stuff on my chinny chin chin. My wife would love me more if I could grow any facial hair at all besides my mustache. How sad is it when a 40 year old man shaves maybe twice a week, and that is only if I am going somewhere. My 4 year old son will be shaving daily before I ever will and I have a 36 year head start. Some guys have all the luck..

Looks as if the the river has came back up some.

The river is always the same. It runs from the dam of Lake Marion (Santee Cooper) all the way to the Atlantic. The river flucuates with the tide as much as 4 feet on average 2 times a day. More around full moon.

But I am excited that the lake is coming up. It has risen almost 7 feet in the last month. It only needs a few more feet for summer pool.
