had a small tourney this past sat, the color was a little stained but good color, i only had a slot, most of the tourney did bad, but two guys had 5 with 13 winning, then theres was only one guy with 2, they said they went shallow, but i got no idea how it will be after the rain.

It's rained 2.5" today near the lake. Small creeks in the are a rolling muddy.

thats what Im afraid of......man this weather has got to give us a break soon...I hate fishing in a mud bowl

With all the rain we got here today I'd say the upper half will be pure mud by morning. Drove across Walnut Creek this afternoon it was getting muddy. Then drove to Brownsford and it was rolling muddy with alot of current. Don't look good for the weekend.

we had 5 " here overnight...its pretty bad..I was out this morning some roads under water...some homes with water in them

according to the corps site barren came up almost 4 ft since yesterday

Thanks we got 3bites today and all where keepers 4 allmost 9lbs you can check our tournament at USABassin.com later on today or tommorow after john updates it.Big fish was over 7lbs too.19 boats we was 6th i think.There was 2boats with limits.Over 15lbs won it.

Fished a club tourney there today. Lake temps were around 54. Most of the lake was mud. Lake is up about 4 feet over summer pool.

Caught most our fish on jerkbaits and spinnerbaits in the afternoon. My partner and I both had limits, his was 14.5 and mine was 15.2. Bite was very aggressive when they would bite. A day to never forget.

If anyone heads down that way be careful out on the lake as there is a ton of floating debris.
