Wont he still need a launch permit on the boat?

It's now called a "Lake Permit". Make sure you have it on your boat if your at Patoka or any other lake in Indiana. I was on Hardy last month during the week and DNR stopped me for a safety check and the first thing he looked for was the "lake permit".

Lake Permits will be needed but just have a copy of the boat registration showing that it is your dad's showing the boat is his. No need for the tags on the trailer.

Yep everyone who fishes in Indiana waters will need the $ 20.00 Lake permit.......
