Nice! Way to stick'em guys. Did you see Elwood running around anywhere?

MHall from here at Fishin.com came down to Ky lake and fished with me today. Man did we have a awesome day. We both boated 5 keepers apiece and caught 70-80 that were too short. We didnt have any monsters though. Had 1 that weight 4-11, a couple 3 pounders and the rest went 2-3 lbs.
I fished yesterday for about 4 hrs and caught 7 keepers, again no huge fish. One went five pounds with 3 going 3 or better and the rest were between 2-3lbs, and caught a BUNCH of short fish...
I really enjoyed fishing with Mark and it was nice to meet him in person(finally)He is a good fisherman and can really put them in the boat.. (He can catch Skipjacks with the best of them...LOL!!!!) All kidding aside he was fun to fish with and made a enjoyable day today. MARK your welcome in my boat anytime......

Yea i've talked to Elwood several times yesterday and today both. He and Cliff were on the Other side of the lake Early this morning and didnt have much luck. So they loaded up and came over to fish with Mark and myself. He's having a good time, but he's mad because of how muddy Barkley is....LOL!!!!! He's a HOOT!!!!
kylakenitro,
I headed over this weekend to try to fill the freezer before switching over to bass for the year, but I may have to give the bass a shot. I'll be taking my parents and they are happy as long as they are catching any type of fish, but my Mom loves catching bass. I don't want any specific spots, but could you give me a general idea if the fish were in the backs or on secondary's? Also, plastics, crankbaits, spinnerbaits? Any direction where to start would help. Thanks.
Mickey it was alot of fun and I really enjoyed fishing with you. You are a good fisherman and a nice host, I appreciate you taking me out. Man I wish we could have turned about half of them shorties into 3 plusers and I may have just quit work and moved in with ya, LOL. It was good to see that big Ole lake again it's been awhile since I had been to the twin lakes area. It was also good to meet some of the fishin.com members and put a face with a name. Met Elwood and Cliff, aka elnutsmalljaw, and chunkinwind, two great fellas. We sit out in the lake and talked for awhile, that Elwood is a nut for sure, and Cliff, super nice guy. Fun day for sure, and now I sit at work and see the sun cracking the horizon and wish I was there fishing right now, this working stuff is highly over rated, lol.
