    New line delima

I was going to try the new Microfuse line from Stren that is blacklight friendly floro, but some of the reviews said it was stiff and unmanagable.
    Has anyone else tried it?

I was going to buy that line as well but like you I read the reviews on basspros website and was not happy. I do know that suffix has a flourescent orange braid. You might want to check that out. I didnt get it because I thought it would be too visible during the day but if you get it let me know how it is.

I'm going to try that new Sufix Braid for night fishing...orange fire or whatever they call it.

I've never tried it personally but like the rest on here I haven't heard good things about it. The braid is the way to go at night as long as you aren't fishing in rocks. Braid doesn't handle rocks very well. Try some p-line CXX in flourescent. It's co-poly like the stren but it's pretty manageable and it's tough as wire.

I may try that CXX and I'll check out the Suffix too. I also looked at the Vicious brand I'm kind of liking it too. The night fishing is about to start and just wanted a good line to throw.

I just use standard flouro. Cast - if you hear water, you are good to go, if not then you have problems. Seriously, I would like to know what you guys find out - I am going to be night fishing often this summer. Already been a few times, and I love it!

Only used it once...on a 2500 sized spinning reel...had no problems with it.

would agree with the pline cxx - have used for nights the last 2 years (prev trilene big game) and very satisfied. it is rated "low" so 10# is more like 15. very tough line!
